I was asked to share a message from the Champlain Area NAACP and its Chapter President, Mary Brown-Guillory, who would like to invite all to join the NAACP for a peaceful vigil and protest to begin at 7:00pm on Saturday, July 9th at the top of Church Street in Burlington near the church. It is being organized in solidarity with many vigils and marches occurring across the country in honor of the latest victims of color to police violence, Philandro Castile in Minnesota and Alton Sterling in Louisiana.
