Please be aware that there is a special town meeting to be held on Tuesday, July 26th at 6pm at Crossett Brook Middle School.
The articles included in the warning are:
Article 1: Should the Town of Duxbury withdraw from the Mad River Resource Management Alliance (MRRMA)?
Article 2: Should the Town of Duxbury join the Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District (CVSWMD)?
Article 3: To discuss the management of Town properties to include:
Town Gravel Pit located at 5536 VT Route 100 across from Town office and garage.
Town forest located at the end of Hart Road which includes what was the Fr. Logue camp and surrounding woodlands.
Vacant lot located at 54 River Road near old school house formerly the Cubit property.
Article 4: To do any other business which may legally come before the Town.
