It's that time of year again when the Waterbury ArtsFest sponsored by Revitalizing Waterbury has a huge downtown block party starting this Friday night. The bottom of Stowe Street at the intersection of Main Street will be closed to traffic from Friday afternoon until later Saturday afternoon. Bidwell Lane will be closed to traffic and parking all day on Saturday. There will be music and a beer garden on Friday night and over 100 artists and more music from 10am - 4pm on Saturday. Waterbury Recreation is providing kids activities on Saturday at the bottom of Bidwell Lane. This event is free to all. Come out and support your Vermont artists and have fun celebrating one of Waterbury's biggest events of the summer.
