Hi Moretown!

I recently started working at Champlain Orchards & Cidery in Shoreham and wanted to let everyone know about the awesome event we'll be putting on at Ploughgate Creamery on Saturday, July 23rd!

Come on out for Round One of the Farmusic Series, a 3-round, 3-event music contest that will bring local musicians out of the woodwork and to the farms in joyful celebration of Vermont's finest offerings. One event happens to be right in our back yard! You might recognize Ploughgate from various covers of the phonebook - yes, it's that beautiful barn overlooking the three mountains - and now you have a reason to visit and take some phonebook-worthy photos of your own while listening to some awesome tunes. (Nothing could be better!)

There will be food from the Mad Taco (yum), the best dang butter in the world from Ploughgate (yes, please), and wicked awesome hard cider from Champlain Orchards Cidery (holy cow). Music will be provided by 5 local musicians chosen to compete for the grand prize, playing CiderFest 2016 and opening for a national touring band at Higher Ground. The contest is still open for submissions, and I know there's plenty of talent in the valley, so go ahead and send in a video on the link below!
