Jeff Salisbury Blues Band will entertain at Tuesday Night Live on the Legion Field, School Street, Johnson on July 12th. Drummer Jeff Salisbury is joined by harmonica ace Bob Butterfield, guitarist Stephen Thurston, and bass master Tom Buckley. The Jeff Salisbury Blues Band plays vintage blues and R & B. You will hear some tunes you may recall and be turned-on to some you have not heard.
Tuesday Night Live is free thanks to the support of local businesses. Just bring a blanket or chair. The nine week (eight left) music schedule is available on the town’s webpage and the Tuesday Night Live Facebook page. Summer showers may dampen the enthusiasm for a few minutes; but it is lightning and thunder that cancels the event.
Local organizations and vendors will be on-site with food and information. Vendors include Nepalese/Himalay Cuisine, Papa Gyro’s, Mediterranean Mix, Northern Fire & Slice Wood Fired Pizza, Kingdom Creamery, and Hot Tamale. Also, Kettle Corn, Back Country BBQ, JJ’s VT Maple Cotton Candy, and Sustainable Smoothies. The Historical Society offers slices of homemade pie as well as hotdogs and fresh-made salads. Tuesday Night Live is a highlight of summer in Johnson.
Tuesday Night Live is free, as it is generously supported by Chuck’s Bikes, Concept 2, Foote Brook Farm, Forget Me Not Shop, Johnson Hardware & Rental, Johnson State College, Laraway Youth & Family Services, and Polow, Polow & Mahoney. Also, R. E. Construction, Rock Art Brewery, Sterling Market, Studio Store, Vermont Studio Center, Carrie Cook Design, Lost Nation Brewing, Landmark Tavern, Green Mountain Troutfitters, and 8 Generations Birth Services. Be sure to let them know you appreciate their support.
