Notice of Public Hearing
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING AND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS FOR THE
TOWN OF WOLCOTT, VERMONT
The Wolcott Planning Commission hereby provides notice of a public hearing being held pursuant to 24 VSA §4441 (Preparation of Bylaws) and §4444 (Public Hearing Notice) for the purpose of hearing public comments concerning proposed amendments to the Zoning and Subdivision Regulations for the Town of Wolcott, Vermont.
DATE: July 19, 2016 -- 7:00pm
PLACE: Wolcott Town Office, Railroad Street, Wolcott, Vermont
Statement of Purpose: The public hearing is being held to solicit public comments regarding proposed Amendments to the Zoning and Subdivision Regulations for the Town of Wolcott. The proposed regulations will:
• Revise and update district objectives and boundaries
• Revise and update review criteria and development standards.
• Combine Wolcott’s Zoning and Subdivision Regulations into a single “Unified Development Bylaw” to allow for better coordination of review.
• Develop a single set of definitions (Article III)
Geographic Area Affected: The Zoning and Subdivision Regulations apply to all areas in the Town of Wolcott, Vermont.
