Next Monday, July 11, Rick Winston will present a program at the Unadilla Theater called "Influential Films of the 1960s." The Sixties were not only a time of political and cultural upheaval; it was a time for groundbreaking films that were affected by the turmoil of the era and contributed in turn to changing attitudes. There will be clips (13 in all) from significant films such as THE GRADUATE, 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, and WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRIGINA WOOLF, as well as a discussion of the effects of the French New Wave and other European films. The time is 7:30; admission is free, though donations are gratefully accepted.
