Spice up your Friday this week with some burritos and bluegrass! Our Featured Vendor of the week, Hot Tamale, will be bringing their classic tamales, burritos and tacos as well as Chile Rellenjo and flan this week, make sure you have an early lunch so you can load up on these fresh flavors for dinner! Other prepared food vendors will be bringing smokehouse pizza, veggie mac n’ cheese, bureks, artisan popcorn, soft pretzels, Indian veggie pie, sweet fruit pies, maple soda, iced tea, lemonade, nitro cold-brew coffee and sorbet.
If you’re looking for salad ingredients after filling up on grilling meats from your 4th celebrations, our farmers will have dandelion greens, strawberries, salad turnip, tomatoes, beet greens, kale, salad mix, cucumbers, scallions, chard, new potatoes, garlic scapes, edible flowers, tulsi basil and turmeric starts. Or, if you haven’t had enough yet, you can pick up some pork, chicken and lamb sausage for the grill! You’ll also find eggs, ciabatta and baguettes, almond croissants, mustards, fresh ketchup, savory pies, fruit pies, maple syrup and candies, honey cream, cookies, maple butter fudge, pickles, kimchi, cut flowers, baklava, pistol and guacamole.
If you’re looking for a gift for an upcoming birthday or wedding, we’ll have several craft vendors this week with products for all ages. You’ll find beeswax candles, essential oils and lotions, massage and yoga gift certificates, hand-made wooden wine stoppers and lovely hand-painted cards for any adults you might be shopping for, and hula hoops, hand-made sock creatures and baby rattles for the kids!
As every week, we will have a face painting booth for the kids, and music starting at 5:00.
Hard Scrabble is a Vermont based, acoustic band, formed in Jan of 2009. Its music is a blend of primarily bluegrass and acoustic covers, with a hint of blues. Hard Scrabble’s repertoire centers on well blended vocal harmonies and varied instrumentation. Instruments include guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, dobro, and bass.
