HUGE Garage Sale, rain or shine inside the Grand Isle Fire Station this Saturday, July 9, 9:00am-2:00pm. The G.I.V.F.D. Auxiliary has received a wonderful mix of items for us to present at our first garage sale to benefit the Grand Isle Volunteer Fire Department. People have been very generous and supportive.
We have two donated items that are going to be sold in separate silent auctions.
One item is the “Fire Truck Peddle Car” that is featured on our posters around town advertising our sale. The fire truck is in like new condition, original packing and original box. Valued over $200.00. Minimum bid is $100.00 with $25.00 or more increment bids.
The other item is a large collection of (over 300) Matchbook Cars. About 50 are in the boxes or displays and all but about 100 are priced. The total value is about $450.00 All Matchbox cars sold as a lot only. Minimum bid is $200.00 with $25.00 or more increment bids.
Also, we are serving a Pancake Breakfast at St. Joseph’s Church, Rt. 2 Grand Isle the next day, Sunday July 10, 7:30-11:00am. Stop by for pancakes with Grand Isle maple syrup, eggs, home fries, sausage, ham, fresh fruit, muffins, coffee, tea, orange juice and milk. $9.00 Adults, $7.00 Ages 6-13, Children 5 & under eat free. Take-outs available.
