Summer Friday Programs for Children (10 am to noon) will begin July 8th at the Argyle Free Library. Each week's program will include a story reading. Simple refreshments will be served. Programs are FREE (courtesy of the Argyle Free Library and the Friends of the Library) and are geared to elementary school-aged children, but younger ones are also welcome, especially if accompanied by an adult.

 July 8 – Paper Mache and Decorate the Library
 July 15 – Lady Slipper, Celia vonBuskirk brings “Rumplestiltskin”
 July 22 – Magician Jim Snack
 July 29 – “Dazzle Dogs”, Caryn Tindal - program to be held at Presbyterian Church 
 Aug. 5 – “Kalidescope Art”, Debbie Austin
 Aug. 12 – Travelling Museum, “Invention Convention” - teamwork, solving engineering challenges
 Aug. 19 – “Highland Herps”, James Smith
