Mountain River School- a nature based elementary school located on the Mountain Road in Stowe- is excited to invite interested students and families to join us for an opportunity to meet our new combined 1st-3rd grade teacher on July 7th, at 10 a.m.
Students will join Christie for some activities and time to connect and meet her. There will also be an opportunity for parents and students to ask questions about our program, our school, and our philosophy.
Christie brings her enthusiasm for teaching, love of multiple languages, and passion for the environment to Mountain River School this coming 2016/2017 school year. Christie also has substantial experience working with organic farms and we are excited for her to help Mountain River School create an extensive garden, and eventually a greenhouse. In the future, we look forward to teaching our students to cook with the food that they have grown!
Mountain River School prides itself on maintaining low student-teacher ratios, while delivering a holistic nature based education. We have limited space available in this class.
