In the past several weeks I’ve heard several Chamber music concerts at Mel Kaplan’s house in Charlotte, VT. Hearing these wonderful musicians in such an intimate setting is an experience not to be missed! There is one more soiree on July 10th that will include Mozart flute quartets and Beethoven trios. The final events of this summer’s series take place on Sunday July 17t at the Basin Harbor Club, Vergennes.
At 3pm there will be a unique event for young people of all ages, the Mad Hatter’s Tea party, at which tea and crumpets will be served . The musical offering will be Alice Meets the Queen performed by the New York Chamber Soloists and written by Gerald Fried. Audience members are encouraged to dress as their favorite Alice in Wonderland character. Tickets are only $15 for adults, $1 for children!

At 7:30 at the Basin Harbor Club there will be a Mozart concert to include the following pieces: § QUINTET for Clarinet and Strings (Allen Blustine-Clarinet)
§ EXULTATE JUBILATE for Soprano and Orchestra (Sara Cullins-Soprano)
§ CONCERTO for Violin and Orchestra, in D Major (Curtis Macomber Violin)
§ AVE VERUM CORPUS
