Dear Friends,
Please join us on October 20th as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of our beautiful meetinghouse on the banks of the Winooski River.
Founded in the late 1950’s, Plainfield Meeting wandered for more than three decades – from nursery schools to Goddard College to family living rooms – before finding a permanent home. Now situated on five acres of wooded land on the banks of the Winooski River, the Plainfield Monthly Meeting meetinghouse, located at 203 Martin Meadow Road in Plainfield, celebrates its 20th anniversary in October 2013 with an invitation to our neighbors throughout central Vermont to visit our beautiful meetinghouse, enjoy great homemade finger foods, music, children’s activities, a rummage sale to benefit the Good Samaritan Haven, walks in our woods along the banks of the river, and learn more about Quakers. Sunday morning worship begins at 10:30 AM and all are welcome. The open house will run from noon to 3:00 PM and folks are invited to drop by anytime.
