It's that time of year again! The Williston Community Food Shelf will be collecting food donations on July 3rd and 4th in a mini school bus. In 2014 we used an antique firetruck to collect food for the food shelf (thanks to Williston Fire Department). Then last year we stuffed a police cruiser with over 240 lbs. of food (thank you to Williston Vermont Police Department). This 4th of July let's see how much food we can "stuff" in a school bus! All donations will benefit the Williston Community Food Shelf. A mini school bus will be located on the town green located next to the Library beginning Sunday, July 3rd until Monday, July 4th ready to accept donations for the food shelf.

This event over the last 2 years has been a great success thanks to the awesome community that we live in! This is the time of year when the food shelf needs a lot of support so let’s stuff as much non-perishable (in date) food and other items (such as toilet tissue, paper towels and other personal hygiene products).
