Gang,

At the (most excellent) performances of Elgin Mann, (the musical), there were so many people milling about during intermissions and before and after the shows, sharing true stories that they remembered themselves from those, "old days."

A bunch of us would LOVE to hear more of these. Whether you fell off a truck and Florence Mann patched you up, if you helped paint the Blue Barn and know who picked the color, if you know the, "other" rumors about Elgin & Florence Mann...we would love to hear from you. So, to capitalize on this momentum, I am taking the liberty of elaborating here on Chris Miller's FPF announcement that there would be, "5pm Old time local storytelling" on this coming Saturday, July 2 either in the Blue Barn at Maple Corner(s) (where the musical was) or outside on that property, weather depending....

We plan to pass around a mic to folks who are willing to share personal stories and recollections from those good ole days. (Maybe some bad or mediocre ones too). So, if you have stories from those days, or want to listen attentively to them, hopefully we'll see each other there. :)
