Mills Riverside Park Summer Concert Series 2016
Concerts begin on July 6th and continue every Wednesday evening through August 3rd. All performances start at 6PM and finish at 8PM. Bring a picnic and relax with your friends and neighbors as you listen to great music in a beautiful, natural setting. The concerts are free. Donations are always appreciated and help support next year’s concerts.
July 6 JERICHO VOX JERICHOVOX is a local Vermont band playing original classic rock with folk, funk, jazz and eastern flavors. The present formation consists of G. Harper Beal on keyboards, trumpet and vocals, Dominic Berrini on bass and vocals, Brian Little mans the drums, percussion and vocals while Jim Magnant plays guitars, vocals and some odds & ends.
July 13 King Me King Me is a Vermont-based musical band playing tunes from the 60’s along with today’s current hits. They are experts in the art of acoustic Rock & Roll. King Me consists of Shaun King (Lead Vocals/Lead Guitars), Shelby D. King (Harmonies/Rhythm Guitar), Matt Guzowski (Percussion), Ryan Ochs (Saxophone) and Jess Cowan (Bass Guitar).
July 20 Phil Henry with percussionist Gary Moon Contemporary folk artist, Phil Henry crafts rich and sweeping song with beautiful chords and a big acoustic sound, played on instruments he often makes by hand.
July 27 Jericho Road Crew Since 1988, the Jericho Road Crew has offered a variety of music from different genres: gospel to celtic, country to rock and roll. The music is always full of harmonies and hope, lyrics and love. The band consists of Ron Lawrence, Kathy Mclean, Joe Casilli and Tracy Lord.
August 3 Derek Burkins and the Milo White Band The Milo White Band plays a variety of americana music from the traditional to the new, bluegrass to folk, along with a continually growing number of originals from frontman Derek Burkins (guitar and vocals). Derek is joined by Tim Berry on fiddle, Mitch Barron on bass, and Chanon Bernstein on drums.”
