Summer Friday Programs for Children (10 am to noon) will begin July 8th at the Argyle Free Library. This first event will involve making paper mache and decorating the library. The following weeks will feature Lady Slipper's "Rumplestiltskin", Magician Jim Snack, Caryn Tindal's "Dazzle Dogs", Travelling Museum's "Invention Convention", James Smith's "Highland Herps", and another program to be announced. Each week's program will include a story reading. Simple refreshments will be served. Programs are FREE (courtesy of the Argyle Free Library and the Friends of the Library) and are geared to elementary school-aged children, but younger ones are also welcome, especially if accompanied by an adult.
