This workshop is for realist landscape painters wanting to incorporate more abstract expression in their work, and for abstract landscape painters seeking guidance in their artistic expression. The focus will be on seeing the landscape more abstractly as well as tuning into the environment with all senses and how that informs the artist’s voice. The relationship between emotional expression, compositional skill and technical facility will be emphasized in discussion and demonstration throughout the workshop.Marianne is proficient in oils, chalk and oil pastel, acrylic, watercolor, and welcomes all mediums in the workshop.
