June 30, 10 AM please join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the Mad River Path's new Boardwalk, at the Carroll Road end of the Boardwalk, opposite the Big Picture entrance! Tremendous thanks to Allen Lumber, the Mad River Valley Rotary Club and Jennifer Howard for their generous financial support. This Boardwalk project was led by MRPA Board Member and master carpenter, Charlie Hosford. Huge thanks to Charlie and all the countless volunteers for their time and expertise. The boardwalk is a work of art that connects the Village Path section from the Big Picture to the end of the Slow Road. It is one of the premier birding spots in the Mad River Valley. We hope you enjoy and admire the new Boardwalk.
