Will Patton Quartet at Tuesday Night Live
July 5, 6 to 8:30 PM
Legion Field, School Street, Johnson
The Will Patton Quartet is comprised of mandolin/octave mandolin, violin, guitar, flute, clarinet and string bass.
The group focuses on Gypsy jazz and Brazilian styles as well as straight up bebop. Free, just bring a blanket or chair.
Rain or shine. Vendors on site with refreshments and more.
Tuesday Night Live is free thanks to the support of local businesses. Just bring a blanket or chair. Parking is along
School Street, in the Elementary School Parking lot, and at the McClelland Building lot on College Hill. The nine
week music schedule is available on the Tuesday Night Live Facebook page. Summer showers may dampen the enthusiasm for a few minutes; but it is lightning and thunder that cancels the event.
Local organizations and vendors will be on-site with food and information. Vendors include Nepalese/Himalay
Cuisine, Papa Gyro’s, Mediterranean Mix, Northern Fire & Slice Wood Fired Pizza, Kingdom Creamery, and Hot
Tamale. The Historical Society will offer slices of homemade pie as well as hotdogs and fresh-made salads. The
Conservation Commission will offer weekly natural resources insights. More non-profit groups may show up as
the season progresses.
Tuesday Night Live is generously supported by: Chuck’s Bikes, Concept 2, Foote Brook Farm, Forget Me Not Shop, Johnson Hardware & Rental, Johnson State College, Laraway Youth and Family Services, and Polow, Polow & Mahoney. Also, R. E. Construction, Rock Art Brewery, Sterling Market, Studio Store, Vermont Studio Center, Carrie Cook Design, Lost Nation Brewing, Landmark Tavern, Green Mountain Troutfitters, and 8 Generations Birth Services.
With thanks to Cal Stanton and Meg Loscomb there will be great entertainment every Tuesday evening in July and August.
