The Northfield Ambulance Volunteers are excited to announce the 1st Annual Northfield Ambulance Volunteers, Inc. Invitational Golf Tournament, to be held on Sunday September 18th at 12 pm at the Northfield Country Club. This 18 hole Shotgun start, best ball team tournament is to benefit both the Betty Podgwaite Scholarship and EMS Training Activities. Fifty percent of all revenue will go to directly benefit the scholarship that the Northfield Ambulance Volunteers established to recognize a graduating Northfield High School student entering a field of study which would benefit the quality of life for the people with whom they work. This would include but not be limited to emergency medical services, fire service, law enforcement, healthcare or social work.
Early bird registration due September 9th: the fee is $360 for team $90 for individual. After September 9th and on day of event: the fee is $400 for a team or $100 for an individual; the price includes golf cart, green fees, chicken dinner and awards after completion of the tournament. There will be both Mulligans and 50/50 available for purchase at the tournament. Prizes will be awarded to the following teams: 1st, 2nd, 3rd places, as well as the Sportsmanship Award (Last Place) and the much coveted Public Safety Award given to the highest finishing team representing a Public Safety Organization. In addition there will be both longest drive and closest to the pin awards on select holes.
