Join The Trust for Public Land, National Park Service, Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation, and Vermont Division for Historic Preservation to celebrate the creation and conservation of Jim Jeffords State Forest and the designation of the adjacent Brown Bridge as a National Historic Landmark. This new, 1,346-acre state forest was named in honor of the late Senator Jim Jeffords, a Shrewsbury resident with a legacy of environmental stewardship and land conservation.
