The Lanpher Memorial Library is excited to announce that Princess Fred will be reading "The Princess and the Pea" on Monday, June 27th at 6:00 p.m. at Night Owl Story Time.
Who is Princess Fred? She's the lead character in the Lamoille County Players' production of "Once Upon a Mattress", which begins its run at the Hyde Park Opera House on July 7th. Shows are July 7-10 and July 14-17.
All ages are welcome to join us for this free program...to meet a REAL Princess!
The Lanpher Library has Night Owl Story Time every Monday at 6:00 p.m.
We have Story Time for 0-6(ish) on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.
Beginning Wednesday, June 29th we have a six week Summer Reading Program at 2:00 each Wed. Based on the theme: "On Your Mark, Get Set, READ!" we have programming linking literacy and physical activity. On the 29th we'll have a visit from Jerry Schneider..."On Your Monarch, Get Set...." Jerry's the Butterfly Guy! While we learn about Eastern Butterflies, we'll also learn about the fun that can be had by getting active and exploring the outdoors. Jerry incorporates a t-shirt activity too...so bring your own plain white t-shirt, or buy one from Jerry for $4...or you might be able to get one from us at the Lanpher Library. We've got a small supply, and will give them out for free while our supplies last! (call ahead to 'reserve' if you want: 802-888-4628)
