This Sunday will be the 30th Annual Strawberry Festival & Book Sale (with Silent Auction) to benefit the Russell Memorial Library in Monkton. It will be held at the Monkton Central School from 12:00 to 3:00 pm. Come and enjoy delicious strawberry shortcake made with fresh-picked local strawberries and then shop for your summer reading selections (and more). There will be a variety of wonderful items in our silent auction, all generously donated by local businesses and townspeople. This is THE summer event in Monkton to see your friends and neighbors, old and new. The library board looks forward to seeing you all on Sunday!
