The fifth annual Festival of Fidos will be held at Basin Harbor Club on Sunday, June 26th. Festival of Fidos is a daylong event devoted to our best friends, with demonstrations, vendors, workshops, 5K run/3K walk (9am), family activities, food and fun all at the beautiful waterfront of Basin Harbor Club! Basin Harbor generously donates half the proceeds of the event toward Lacey’s Fund.

Lacey's Fund was established seven years ago specifically to benefit retired police dogs of the Vermont Canine Police Association. After retirement, these dogs often suffer from ailments resulting in medical expenses that their handlers simply cannot afford. The goal of Lacey's Fund is to assist handlers with the resources needed to enable these retired police dogs to live out the remainder of their days in good health which is the very least we can do in recognition of their contribution to our communities.
