Please join us on July 12th for a special Shelter Fundamentals Training! The training will be held at the Hyde Park Municipal Office from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Guest speaker Daniel Lavilette, Disaster Program Manager for the American Red Cross, will be discussing how to efficiently set up and operate an emergency shelter, and restore it to its pre-disaster condition. Understanding the roles of shelter employees, volunteers, and partners is crucial to the safe operation of shelters in times of need.
