With only 4 days remaining before the 5th Annual Race for Sundaes, it's time to talk logistics! Saturday's forecast for Huntington is 86 and sunny-- great weather for a morning of running and fun! As a result of the potential for such warm weather, we've added an additional water station on the 10K course. We do have a weather policy (http://huntingtonrace4sundaes.weebly.com/weather-policy.html) in the event forecast changes drastically between now and Saturday.
Race day registration opens at 7:30 AM on Saturday morning with a closing of 8:20 AM for ALL RUNNERS, including those who sign up on race day and those who preregistered.
The one mile fun run kicks off at 8:30 with the 5K & 10K following soon thereafter with a 9 o'clock start. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the morning bought to you by the generosity of local businesses and organizations and top runners will be awarded a prize!
Parking is available at the Rec Fields (just past the Huntington Town Office and Community Church) and at Brewster Pierce Memorial School (120 School St, Huntington, VT 05462).
