The family favorite THE PRINCESS BRIDE will be shown this Friday, June 24, at 6:30 at the Adamant Community Club (not at 7:00 as previously advertised). Rob Reiner's 1987 film has become a much-loved and often-quoted film over the years. It's a romantic fantasy-adventure story that stars Robin Wright, Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin, Wallace Shawn, and Andre the Giant. As one writer described it, "it's action-packed but still light-hearted, sweet but not saccharine, silly but still smart." Admission is free, but donations are gladly accepted.
