Please Join Us THIS WEDNESDAY, June 22nd at 7 PM as the South Hero Community Library Proudly Presents STEPHEN KIERNAN for our 10th Annual Vermont Author Talk.

Mr Kiernan is the winner of more than 40 awards including the George Polk Award and the Scripps Howard Award for Distinguished Service to the First Amendment. His publications include 'The Hummingbird:A Novel' of which Booklist calls a "many-faceted, thought-provoking story [that] prompts soul-searching about life, war, and death.”. Alan Cheuse of NPR describes Mr. Kiernan's 'Curiousity: A Novel' as "One of the year’s great delights. . . . [A] beautifully made first work of fiction.” Additional works by this acclaimed author include 'Last Rights: Rescuing the End of Life from the Medical System', 'Authentic Patriotism: Restoring America's Founding Ideals Through Selfless Action' and 'Authentic Patriotism: How to Restore America's Ideals---Without Losing Our Tempers or Our Minds'.
