The shoreline of the Edgewater Resort will be filled with music, dancing and a delicious buffet on the evening of Saturday, June 25, starting at 5 PM. The Big Band Bomobash, otherwise known as the annual Lake Bomoseen Association picnic, is being held for LBA members and any friends of the lake. The 18 piece band EnerJazz is playing for our enjoyment and dancing. The Trak In's famous chicken and rib barbecue, with all the fixings is being served. Another highlight of the evening is the silent auction being held to raise funds to fulfill our mission to protect, preserve and promote our lake. A few of the larger items being offered for your bid are: a paddleboard with rack and paddles, Weber gas grill, $200 fuel oil certificate, 124" kayak and paddles, Hubbardton Forge floor lamp, lake home vacation, sunset cruise with appetizers and refreshments, 3 day/2 night NYC hotel stay, gift certificates from local restaurants and many more items. Be sure to bring your checkbooks. Bomobash tickets are limited this year and are $35 if purchased after June 20 at Century 21 Bird Realty and Woodard Marine. Tickets purchased before June 20 are $25 for LBA members, non members are $30, kids ages 6 to 12 are $10 and under 5 are free. Every adult ticket holder this year is receiving the book Beautiful Lake Bomoseen, a $24.95 value, and the kids receive a toy. Adults may bring their own beverages and everyone should bring a chair. Tables and a dance floor are provided. A preview of the auction items will be held at the LBA Social being held on Thursday, June 23 at the Brown's home, 2495 Rt. 30 north, Bomoseen from 5 to 7:30 pm.
