Please join COVE at the Residence at Shelburne Bay on Monday, June 20 from 10 AM – noon for COVE’s workshop, “The Basics of State Government and How to Talk with Your Legislators.”

This interactive workshop, both fun and informative, is presented by COVE staff and trained volunteers with experience at the State House. Gain practical information, including: how a bill becomes a law; how to find out what is going on in the Legislature; how to testify on a bill; how to communicate effectively with legislators; and how to advocate for your needs and interests.

Light Refreshments will be served. Takes place in the Vermont Room at Shelburne Bay.
