Coloring for Big Girls, June 29, 1:00-3:00: presented by VT Center for Independent Living at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Bennington, 108 School Street. Open to women with disabilities, their care givers and allies. Coloring is a soothing, meditative past time that many of us enjoyed as children, but gave up in adulthood. Working with color and hand movement are great left-brain activities that can help us process. Bring your crayons, colored pencils or magic markers and join the big girls for some relaxing fun and conversation. (Some supplies will be provided, please be sure to register to be sure we have enough). Events are free, but registration is required to ensure enough materials and seating by 6/27/16. Participation is open to women with disabilities, their female caregivers and allies. Light refreshments provided. This is a chemical- and scent-free event. If you require an ASL interpreter, please contact me by 6/22/16. For more information, to register and/or to request accommodations: Lynn Mazza, VCIL, 601 Main St. Bennington, 802-442-1876, lmazza@vcil.org
