The second annual Celebrate Solar on June 18 will feature public tours of solar systems of varying size throughout the state. The public will have the opportunity to get an up-close understanding of the technology, economics and benefits to the community. Solar customers, host farmers and owners will be on-hand to speak with the public. Open systems will be designated with roadway signage and many will feature music, refreshments or other entertainment including Vermont's two solar powered churches, a self-guided bike tour and solar powered smoothies, just to name a few.
