The next meeting of the committee that is considering a merger between the Northfield and Williamstown Schools will be held on June 21st from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Williamstown Middle and High School library. The primary discussion topic will be the financial implications of a merger. The meeting is open to all. During the last meeting, the committee heard presentations by the superintendents of our two districts, Laurie Gossens and Susette Bollard. They each highlighted the stengths of their districts, challenges moving forward and the opportunites that may be realized if a merger takes place.
