This is an opportunity to come together in response to the tragedy in Orlando. FL this weekend,
to be together, to sing, to grieve and to rekindle hope.
This vigil is organized by local area clergy and congregations including St. Mark’s Episcopal, The First Congregational Church, The Black River Sangha Buddhist Group, The North Springfield Baptist Church, The Springfield Unitarian Universalist Congregation and others.
We’ll have a gathering, sharing, singing, and worship service at the UU congregation on Fairgrounds Road. For those who choose, there will be a march from there to the congregational church downtown – and a bus to take people who don’t want to walk. Bring a banner or sing if You choose. We hope You’ll join us.
