Renewable Energy Vermont (REV) has announced its second annual Celebrate Solar event, a statewide “Open House” at participating solar installations all over Vermont. Here's your chance to see and learn about solar initiatives in our Valley.

The Mad River Community Solar Farm off Carroll Road behind the Big Picture Theater, Maclay Architects at 4809 Main Street, and the new Waitsfield Municipal Building and are three Waitsfield solar projects on the tour.

Members of the Mad River Community Solar Farm will be on hand from 10 am to 2 pm to answer questions and give tours of the array. Maclay's Open House hours are from 11 am to 1 pm. The Waitsfield Town Office will host a 1 pm tour of the nearly finished building at 4144 Main Street.
