5 Town Champions
The Lincoln Magic, the Lincoln Majors Little League baseball team, captured the 5 Town Championship Pennant by finishing with the best regular season record (6-0 for 5-Town,14-0 overall) in the expanded Addison County League. This is only the 4th time since the start of the tournament in 1973 that Lincoln has won the Championship.
Addison County Championship
Lincoln is currently playing in the first ever Addison County Championship. The Magic defeated the Starksboro Pirates last week 3-1 in a 5 town classic to advance to the second round of the double elimination tournament. Tuesday night, June 14th, Lincoln plays the #2 seed Middlebury Tuesaday at 6:00. who defeated Bristol. The losers of Tuesdays games will meet on Thursday to play the winner of the Lincoln-Middlebury game on Saturday for the Championship.
Before the game, Lincoln will be awarded the 5 Town Pennant trophy.
It is very exciting to have all of the Addision County teams playing for a single title,and more exciting that Lincoln is in the run. Please come out and watch this great group of boys.
