Vermont Interfaith Action to host Gubernatorial Candidate Conversations of Vermont's Economy

Plan now to attend our "Conversations with the Candidates" events,
featuring in-depth interviews with the three Democrats and two Republicans who are running for Governor. VIA Clergy will moderate separate half-hour conversations with each person, focusing on their vision of what a "Moral Economy" would look like in Vermont and how they will seek to get us there.

It is our hope that this format will help to change the political discourse so prevalent in our country, with complex policy decisions reduced to sound bites and distinctions between candidates reduced to insults. These conversations will be civil, respectful, and substantive, giving you a comprehensive view of the candidates before the August primary.

Democrats: Wed, June 15
6:15 pm to 8:30 pm
Ohavi Zedek Synagogue (188 N. Prospect St.), Burlington

Republicans: Tues., June 21
6:15 pm to 8:00 pm
First Presbyterian Church of Barre (19 S. Seminary St.)
