The school renovation committee meets again on Tuesday, June 21st at 7PM at the school. I am thrilled to say that the first meeting was very well attended and several community members stepped up to serve our goal of making a recommendation to the school board about the scope of the renovation project and the size of the bond to take to the Berlin voters.

We have some great expertise on the committee, but every member so far has a child or grandchild in the school. We want to be sure that the rest of the taxpayers have a voice in what happens to this community asset and to our tax bills and are hoping some other Berliners will step up. Please let me know if you are interested in serving. We meet every other Tuesday at 7PM and think we can complete our work in about 6 meetings or so. Thank you for caring!
