Are you interested in tips on how to get started in genealogical research about your family? If so, you'll want to come to the June 15 meeting of the Fletcher Historical Society.
Charles Tinker, Fletcher Historian and Society president, will share his extensive knowledge on how to make your search as simple and as efficient as possible. He will discuss some of the best Internet sites and ways to access information such as town records, census and court documents, addresses, telephone numbers and a range of lesser-known sources that hold part of the public record.
The fifty minute presentation will commence at 7 PM at the Fletcher Historical Society building on Cambridge Road in Fletcher Center. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
