This Friday,June 10th, our local 5 Corners Farmers Market returns to Lincoln Place with fresh produce, meat, chicken, and eggs to bring home straight from the farmer. Our community is so lucky to have farmers who bring their fresh locally raised products to us; visit their tents and learn more about them. Be sure to check out our newest farm this week, Burelli Farm, who is selling fresh, local, certified organic chicken and eggs.
We also have a variety of value-added agricultural product vendors such as Vermont Vinegars, Sugartree Maple Farm, Mountain Creek Apiary, GoodMix, and Maple Tree Tea & Lemonade; Vermont Vinegars is new this year, and they have homemade vinegars and vinaigrettes in beautiful bottles that would look great on your dining room table or as a gift.
Our artisans and crafts include beautiful illustrations by Aje, handmade sketchbooks by Jason Tom, regular favorite doll- and pet-clothes byNana, and fun, bright tie-dye tees and textiles by Green Mountain Tie Dye.
If you are looking to eat dinner at the market, we will have everything from wood fired pizza, grilled cheeses and hot-dogs, to Thai, Mediterranean, and Mexican foods. Find some dinner for the family and have a seat on the lawn while listening to this week's act, Papa Greybeard, playing hits from the 60s and '70s.
Don't forget that our Power of Produce Tent will have kids passports and activities to delight your younger children!
