Community Capital of Vermont offers tuition-free, half-day QuickBooks workshops for current business owners and anyone thinking of starting a business. Register for one or both sessions, as your experience level indicates. Workshop 1: Introduction to QuickBooks, from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is for participants new to QuickBooks accounting software and includes:
> the Chart of Accounts;
> Creating Customers, Invoices, and Receiving Payments;
> Creating Vendors, Entering Bills, Making Payments, and Printing Checks;
> the Check Register;
and, lots more tips and tricks helpful to know as you learn your way around QuickBooks.
For those with some QuickBooks experience, join us for Workshop 2: Reconciliation, Taxes, and Reports, from 1:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. In this session, we cover:
> Reconciling Your Bank Statement with QuickBooks;
> Taxes: Sales, Use, and Rooms & Meals;
> Running Reports;
> Basic of Reading Your Financials.
Register for either or both hands-on workshops delivered by QuickBooks ProAdvisor David Parker and Senior Business Advisor Maggie Fox. Classes are limited to 12 participants and each receives a complete QuickBooks student manual.
