Past event
Jun 11, 2016, 7 to 9 AM

Greetings Everyone,

Bird Walk this Saturday in the St. Albans Town Forest! Please register with the St. Albans Recreation Department. We'll be visiting the part of the forest where Audubon Vermont has implemented some patch cuts for songbirds. Hoping to hear and maybe even see the Yellow-throated Vireo that's been there as well.

St. Albans Town Forest is a gem of a spot for birding in Franklin County! We'll explore the trails and the habitats looking for migrating and breeding songbirds. This 162 acre site boasts more than 70 species including Black-throated Blue Warbler, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and Scarlet Tanager.

Registration is required for monthly bird walks offered by the St. Albans Recreation Department in St. Albans, Vermont. The fee is $10 residents/$13 non-residents. Please call the Recreation Department at 524-1500 x266 to sign up for individual walks!

Meet at the Town Forest on Forest Drive off of French Hill Road in St. Albans. Parking area will be on your right at the end of Forest Drive.
