Hello Neighbors!
Would you like to do something AMAZING this summer!? Do you want to support the local youth?! Do you enjoy overcoming challenges with your friends and/or family?! How about FREE FOOD?!
If you answered YES! to any of these questions, the Basement Teen Center has an opportunity for you! It's time for the 6th annual Amazing Race!
1st, gather a team of 4. They can be friends, family, acquaintances, and intergenerational. 2nd, register your team on www.crowdrise.com/amazingrace2016. 3rd, raise (at least) $100 total, meaning everyone on your team would only have to raise $25! 4th. Show up at City Hall in Montpelier at 10AM on June 25, 2016 with your team! 5th. Receive challenge cards, let them lead you and your team to different sponsored challenges around Montpelier, to which you can walk, run, crawl, or whatever you see fit. 6th. Finish the race! You will then meet the other racers and receive a free lunch!
If you decide you don't want to put together a team, but would still like to be involved on this day of fun, we are also accepting volunteers at this time! Please email btcamazingrace@wcysb.org if you would like to volunteer or have questions!
The Basement Teen Center is a program under the Washington County Youth Service Bureau. The donations will go to the teen center which is used by many local youth where they can eat free, play games, receive mentoring, join sexual education classes, and so much more!
