Vermont Gives is an initiative of Common Good Vermont, a 501c3 statewide organization dedicated to providing programs and resources that support nonprofit organizational capacity. Festival on-the-Green is proud to join more than 300 other Vermont nonprofits in participating in Vermont Gives, the Green Mountain State’s first statewide giving day, on June 7, 2016. Community members will have 24 hours to support this exciting fundraising initiative. The Festival needs your help to make our campaign a success.

Your gift, large or small, helps continue a nearly-four-decades tradition of bringing top-quality, family-friendly entertainment to the residents and guests of Addison County for one week each summer with no admission fee.

The Festival, a 2016 Vermont Chamber of Commerce Top 10 Summer Event, is an all-volunteer organization. Because we have no paid staff, 100% of each donation goes toward presenting our event which features 17 acts over seven days. This year marks the Festival’s 38th season and we are excited to be returning to the Village Green after two summers at the Recreation Park. Our week kicks off on Sunday, July 10, at 7:00 PM with a performance by the New Nile Orchestra offering Ethiopian traditional music with world, funk, jazz, hip-hop and Afro-Cuban styles.
