Saturday, June 11 is Free Fishing Day in Vermont! The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department will be holding a free Family Fishing Festival on Saturday, June 11 from 9am-3pm (registration closes at 2pm) at the Ed Weed Fish Culture Station located at 14 Bell Hill Rd., Grand Isle, Vermont. Department staff and volunteers from the Lets Go Fishing program will be leading a wide array of educational stations including, casting, fish identification, knot tying, lure making, hook setting and so much more.
