The Aldrich home in East Montpelier has been powered by solar energy since September, 2014. Since installing a cold climate heat pump as a primary heat source and choosing the sun as a power source, the Aldrichs’ have saved $ on their electric bills and their home heating bills!
Come and check out the power station on the Aldrichs’ roof and the cold-climate heat pump outside & inside at this hands-on demonstration and learn about how you can get cleaner, less expensive power (& heat) for your own home.
RGS Energy & Red Rock Mechanical will be on hand to answer any questions you have about solar and Cold Climate Heat Pumps & refreshments will be provided!
