St. Johnsbury Academy adult education is offering the following professional development opportunity with Karen Stark this summer:

Technology Integration in Special Ed: July 26 – 29, T/W/TH/F 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; $100 includes lunch
Special Education teachers will master technology tools that can be integrated within all content areas and used to assist students with learning challenges. Participants will learn to utilize Google Add Ons and Chrome Extensions including Speech Recognition, Mindmeister, Read & Write, Awesome ScreenShot, and many others. Participants will develop lesson plans to incorporate their learning in their classrooms. Facilitator Karen Stark has over 15 years’ experience as an elementary educator, special educator, curriculum coordinator, and tech integration specialist.
