Sharing Stonewall Stories at the Starksboro Stone Wall Commemoration

Past event
Jun 4, 2016, 3 to 6 PM

This Saturday, June 4th from 3 - 6, YOU are invited to celebrate a beautiful new - BIG - addition to our community.

Please join in - a little time out - to share history in the making for the New Stone Wall Commemoration at Sentinel Farms.

Rick Mason and Nirmegh - with the daily over seeing of retired stone master Stoney Mason - have completed the 236 foot long stone retaining wall that is now holding back the mountain! An increase in training space is needed to respond with Unbound Grace to the increase in Sentinel Farms Arts, Agriculture & Equestrian Summer Program attendance. Unbound Grace makes sure that all youth interested in learning receive a resounding "Yes!" from our healthy community.

This stone wall sure is a beautiful and remarkable sight to behold and will be a part of this community long after each of us have passed and are gone with the seasons. Lots of pictures and a video will be shot to document the event so we can look back in handful of years at the walls conception and remember - together - how young we were.

Share tasty bites of Sentinel Farms Beef and donated desserts and share your own Stone Wall Stories or maybe a song or poem to enlighten us to our history.
Bring along a friend and a lawn chair - and a dessert to share if you have time - so you can be comfortable for all the tale telling! Just north of the barn 4118 Vt Rt 116.
See you on Saturday - 3 - 6pm.
Be well.
