Just a reminder that the Saint Francis Xavier Stampede, a fun run for children and adults, will be held at Saint Francis Xavier School, 5 St. Peter Street, on Saturday, October 12. The event begins at 8:45 a.m. with a children's .2 mile race around the school and playground followed by a 2.5 K and 5 K race in the neighborhood. The .2 mile run is free. Entry fees for the 2.5 K and 5 K races are $10 for adults and $5 for children 14 and under. Each participant receives a $10 gift certificate to Fleet Feet in Essex Junction! Catholic Financial Life is co-sponsoring the event and will match proceeds up to $1,000. Come join us for a morning of fun and exercise!
